From 2000 hot dogs to dance parties, live performances, parent morning tea, giant games and special chapels, things got very orange last week as we focused on building a positive culture at Mueller. The event began many years ago with Mueller’s participation in the National Day Against Bullying. Over time, and with intention, it has grown into a week’s celebration to encourage students to play their part in building a school culture that leaves students knowing they belong.

While there are plenty of fun orange shenanigans, the ‘You Belong’ message undergirds every activity. In assemblies, SL@M sessions, chapels, devotions, and classrooms, students are prompted to recognise the unique gifts in themselves and others, and the inherent value each person carries as God’s creation.
