Term 4 can be seen as a ‘lot of work’ or a time of ‘celebration’. Personally, I am trying to convince myself that the celebrations far outweigh the work which needs to be achieved.

The short term ahead is full of activities, some of which include the Year 9 Camp, Year 10 Camp, Go Kart racing competition, Arts Festival, Sports Award evening, Film and TV Awards, Presentation Night, Year 9 Semi-Formal, Senior Pre-Formal and Formal, Prep/Year 6/Senior Graduations, orientation of 2019 students, all which occur over and above the day to day academic program. You can see what I mean by ‘a lot of work’.

However, we want to see the term as a celebration rather than a list of tasks. This will allow us to celebrate each unique student which God has brought to Mueller. Each student has their own gifts and abilities. Some students will receive awards, other have just missed out. Some students will revel in the celebrations, others will shy away from the dance floor.

At Mueller, we see every person created in God’s image. There are no mistakes in His design, and it is that mindset which will release us to celebrate the term rather than be weighed down by the ‘to-do’ lists. The myriad of events will give each student an opportunity to be celebrated for their gifts, abilities and personality.

I encourage you to get involved in the term’s celebrations to see a positive finish to 2018.

Roll on Term 4!
