Term 3 has commenced, and a quick look at the calendar says we are in store for a fantastic term.

Teaching and Learning is the core business and the priority of the term ahead. The action in the classroom will establish the foundation and love of learning we all want for our children. All we do is focused on providing a positive learning environment to create a sense of belonging so that children enjoy coming to school. We believe if children ‘come to school with a smile – leave with a smile’, they are in a great place to learn all they need.

The term is also packed with community events. We have Beanies for Brain Cancer Week, Careers Expo, Camps, Book Week, NZ Ski Trip, and the term ends with a group of students heading to Nepal to engage in mission at Promise Bilingual School. Buckle up, we have plenty in store for the weeks ahead.

The FETE is almost upon us. We are incredibly proud of the Mueller FETE. The community comes together for a day of laying down positive memories in the minds of our young people. Be sure to check out all the FETE notices to make sure you are prepared for Saturday. Come early, set up your picnic blankets and settle in for a ripper day. Remember, we measure the day in ‘smiles, not dollars’.

I would like to welcome the new families who have just joined the Mueller community. I trust your child/ren settle in fast, enjoy school and learn all they need for life.
